CHAHIDA Involvement with Education related projects:

Education is the backbone of a nation. But in the rural side the condition of women education is below standard. To improve the condition CHAHIDA works with illiterate children of the working area. Education sector is one of the most important and ongoing programs of CHAHIDA, because nothing is alternative of education and education is the backbone of a nation. The education rate of rural areas is much more than the city areas. It works in the remotest areas and most of the guardians are poor and marginal farmers. Due to poverty parents could not provide necessary clothes, proper diet and school fees to their children so children can't go to schools regularly. For the upliftment of Govt. primary education, eradication of illiteracy and increase the literacy rate within the working area, the organization designed its education sector aiming;

•To eradicate illiteracy among the target families and provide them literal knowledge.

•To make the target illiterate families' literate by whom they can at least read and write and keep family income and expenditure accounts,

•To facilitate the Govt. Adult education program.

CHAHIDA Involved with BRAC Education Support Programme Implementation of Non Formal Primary Education Programme (NFPE):

The following activities are effectively implementing by CHAHIDA.

meetings. (iv) Meeting with the dropped-out children and disabled for admitting schools. (v) NFPE education to the learners, cultural activities, games and sports, etc. (vi) Monthly guardian's meetings and school management committee meetings. (vii) Arranging annual cultural functions and sports for the learners for encouraging to go to learning Centre for regularly and to improve their brain and mentality. (viii) Encouraging guardians, local elite, leaders, teact lers, and religious leaders etc. to motivate and encourage the people to send their children to schools not to involve in heavy works. (ix) Distribute suitable aid-materials to the disabled children for going to schools easily (wheel chairs, crutches, white sticks, tricycle etc.). (x) Arrange seminar and workshop on child's rights establishment. (xi) Arrange campaign, advocacy, lobbying with the local elite, teachers, administrations, ^movemment departments, local clubs etc. (xii) Create education friendly environment to improve education status through arranging inter school's cooperation, visits etc. among disabled children and normal children.

Involvement with BNFE for the implementation of Out of Scholl Children Education Program under PEDP-4 partnership with Gram Bkash Sangstha (BKASH):

The major objectives of SCE are;

1. To create second chance to complete primary education for the children who are out of school (never enrolled or dropout) for any reasons through flexible learning strategies.
2. To create opportunity for the out of school children to integrate in to formal education system at any appropriate level as per their skills and competencies,
3. To create opportunity for the missed out children to comp;ete same level of primary education as formal and to attend primary completion exam so that they can enroll in grade six and also can attend skill development courses as appropriate.
4. To make the education system responsive to reduce the number of school age children who are out of school ona Innnrt them to achieve quality primary education.

CHAHIDA deputed 01 Upazila Program Manager, 05 Supervisors & 75 Teachers for proper Implementation of the Project.
